Naomi Geste is a Boorloo (Perth)–born, Gadigal–based multi-modal screen composer, songwriter, vocal coach, and creativity mentor. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance, Honours) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and a Master of Arts: Screen (Music) from the Australian Film Television & Radio School.
Blending contemporary sensibilities with rich orchestration and narrative depth, Naomi creates music to feel to — a cinematic art-pop style that moves seamlessly between screen and stage. Her short films Rehabilitating (2024), The Method (2025), and Domme (2025) have premiered at major festivals including Sydney, St Kilda, and Flickerfest. Her graduating recital, an album-length performance, was awarded the 2020 Mustang Bar Award for Most Outstanding Performance.
Naomi has collaborated with industry leaders such as Cameron Patrick, Greg Wise, Timothy Nelson (Indoor Fins), and award-winning composer Caitlin Yeo through the 2024 APRA AMCOS & Paramount Australia Screen SongHubs workshop, and worked under the mentorship of François Tétaz (Gotye, Wolf Creek (2006)) as part of the 2025 APRA AMCOS 23% Mentorship.
Working out of Church Street Studios, Naomi is committed to bringing big ideas to life with emotional integrity and creative collaboration. Her practice combines musical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for nurturing emerging talent, positioning her as a distinctive voice in Australia’s contemporary screen and music landscape.
